Volunteers Needed

The 2026 Concord July 4th Parade, Festival, and Fireworks will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Mt. Diablo High School and Todos Santos Plaza in Concord.

We are seeking volunteers to support this full-day community event. Help is needed at both the morning Parade, which kicks off at 10:00 AM, and the afternoon Festival, which begins at 4:00 PM.

Parade Volunteer Roles (Morning):

• Assist with staging and organizing parade participants
• Support crowd control along the route
• Help with road closures and general event flow

Festival Volunteer Roles (Afternoon/Evening):

• Kids Carnival support
• VIP parking lot assistance
• Gate attendants and guest support

This is a free community event made possible by the support of dedicated volunteers. Your time and effort help make this celebration safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone.

Volunteers needed for the following activities

Parade Volunteer	8:00 am – 12:00 pm	Help organize parade participants or help along parade route.
Carnival Game Volunteer	2 shifts 4 pm – 6:30 pm 6:30 pm – 9 pm	Taking tickets for the bounce houses or carnival games
Gate and Information Booth Attendant	4 pm – 8pm	Help provide directions for guests at Galindo St. and Grant St. Entrances
Parking lot attendant	4pm – 8pm	Help coordinate VIP Parking at the main gate on Grant Street
