Independence Day Parade

You are invited to Celebrate Concord…Family, Community and Business at our
32nd Annual Independence Day Parade.
Get a good seat along the parade route to watch Concord Celebrate its diverse and incredible community from its classic cars, unique floats, dance troops, dancing horses, and marching bands. The theme of this years parade is “Celebrating our Strong Foundations” a tribute to all of those in our community that make it possible for all of us to thrive such as family day care providers and teachers. This year’s parade is sponsored by Marathon, and will kick off at 10am. So cheer loudly for your favorite entry and let the parade participants know how much you enjoy their performance. The winners will be judged and announced by the Concord City Council at a future council meeting.

2023 Parade Route:
The Parade will start at Mt. Diablo High School on Grant St. It will go south to Willow Pass Road and turn right to wrap around Todos Santos Plaza. The Parade will then turn right onto Mount Diablo Street and return to the rear entrance of Mount Diablo High School at Galindo Street.
